Saltillo gets split with Ripley as boys win in OT

Saltillo went to a very talented Ripley team on Tusday and came away with a split with the boys winning a hard fought game in OT and the girls falling.

In girls action, the Lady Tigers came up short against Ripley by a final score of 68-21. The loss moved Saltillo to 14-12 on the season.

In boys action, the Tigers battled back for a come from behind victory. After trailing at halftime, Saltillo tied the game at 36 and then pulled away in the OT period for a 50-43 victory. Tyson McKenzie led with 22 points while T.J. Hannah added 12 points.

The win moved the Tigers to 20-7 on the season.
