Tupelo gets 3-2 win on road at Corinth

The Lady Wave picked up a win in their first road game of the season in a thriller at Corinth.

Tupelo bounced back to move to 2-1 on the season with a 3-2 victory over the Lady Warriors.

Tupelo was leading 1-0 heading to the 6th inning off of a Sadie Morris 4th inning run.

The Golden Wave added a pair of runs in the 6th inning, one each by Kat Knight and India Ivy, that proved to be needed as Corinth matched their double scores in the bottom half of the inning.

Pitcher Paris Lehman slammed the door in the bottom of the 7th to preserve the victory.

Lehman would go the distance, scattering 3 hits and striking out 7. Knight went 2-3 at the plate with a double and a triple.

The win moved Tupelo to 2-1 on the season.
